The Villa

Heaven Beach Villa is a modern two-story residence with an open terrace and marble flooring. All furniture and fixtures are simple and spartan. Wooden doors and windows with steel bars ensure security and privacy. Free Wi-Fi.

Location

Heaven Beach Villa is located on top of the South Cliff, almost at the edge of the cliff. The Villa sits in an uncrowded, sleepy residential neighborhood, at the end of the road. The South Beach is reachable within 5 minutes by foot.

Rooms

We have ten rooms in our Villa. All are double occupancy, with attached bath + toilet. The rooms are spacious with minimal, essential furniture in true backpacker tradition. Some of the rooms are air conditioned. All of them are blessed with seabreeze.

Services

We offer or arrange the following services: Surfing, Money exchange advise, Laundry, Ayurvedic massage, Rent-a-bike, Houseboat, Train ticket booking. Complimentary Wi-Fi comes standard.

Rooftop Yoga

The terraced roof of our Villa with a traditional, thatched roof-top hut offers excellent views of the sea and the greenish neighborhood. Yoga sessions are arranged here. Classes are taken by an expert instructor. The guests can use the terrace and hut at anytime without hindering the classes.

Food and Pantry

Food can be arranged from our catering partner. Ask for menu. The Villa also has a full-fledged kitchen and the guests can use it upon notice.

The famous Cliffs of Varkala.

Varkala is the only place in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. Known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geo-heritage site as declared by the Geological Survey of India, these red-colored cliffs are dotted with numerous water spouts and spas on the sides.

Varkala Beaches

There are several beaches in Varkala, with religiously-important Papanasam beach being the most famous. Those north of Papanasam ("destroyer of sins") are commercially more developed and generally more crowded. Those south of Papanasam are more secluded and not so busy, often even deserted.

Things you can do in Varkala

You can have great fun in Varkala where you may enjoy various sports activities such as parasailing and paragliding. You can also do a lot of surfing. Sun, sand and breeze are abundant in Varkala and the sea water is clean and unpolluted.

Testimonials

The Villa is located virtually the end of the road. You walk past the villa for 25 yards, and the road will turn into a pedestrian walkway for another 50 yards and that too will end. Climb down the stairs, it's nothing but miles and miles of sandy, empty beach.

The Heaven Beach Villa is a pleasant surprise and a true hidden gem. I don't think any other stay can offer such value for money. The location quiet and peaceful, the rooms, neat and clean. No AC is in some rooms but that's OK.
